With our software providers, the network of screens can be put into logical groups, with one group showing a different channel to another. This allows the ability to control the channels shown across all screens and group screens by physical locations across multiple sites.
Unlike standalone posters and static billboards, digital signage delivers real time content providing more control and quicker response times to changes in the environment, therefore providing viewers with consistent updated content. Digital signage owners and advertisers have the ability to update on a real time basis and to make timely changes of messages in response to changing consumer and environmental factors.
We have a first class team of Network engineers and our installation teams regularly install cabling infrastructures to support Data, and Network Applications using category 5e, 6, fibre optic and coaxial cabling. We can also offer wireless communications as an option.
SNT Media Networks is a broadband reseller, and has a range of ADSL products to suit the needs of a digital media network and Bluetooth Proximity Marketing. SNT Media Networks co-ordinates the installation and activation of the lines with the installation of the Equipment. By maintaining full control of the ADSL Broadband network, maintenance and management tasks are carried out quickly by our in house team.

With Bluetooth Proximity Marketing we can also offer 3G/GPRS communications to resolve issues where no phone sockets are available to be placed.
With Video / DVD players these enable Video files and Still Images to be loaded onto a Memory card and played back in a loop until the card is updated.
This method is a lower costs option initially, for a small number of locations, however, the potential on-costs of changing the media content on monthly / weekly basis, in terms of handling manpower, timings, screen locations and file transfer onto media SD cards can make this method quickly uneconomical compared to handling remotely. This is coupled with the lack of flexibility in being able to change the content being played on the screens in a moment from a main scheduling hub.
For initial client / customer education and costing of a digital media / screen solution we understand that the fully managed remote service is sometimes initially a bridge too far, but we quickly find that customers, requesting ‘new’ content or specials that want / need to be offered with short term notification and duration (e.g. a one off offer for a weekend) and this is where the networked remote options comes into it's own.
With changing the content once a month with solid state media players, this normally needs to occur on one particular evening, and when the site is closed. The actual costs are of course dependent on the locations, access and parking restrictions, mileage and fuel requirements between stores, number of personnel required to carry out the 'DVD' changes, cost of the actual media, e.g. SD cards or similar, as well as the administration costs required to run a small team of manual content changers as opposed to a single individual who can upload content to all stores, at the same time (or prior to the scheduling time) and from one central fully managed location. If we consider 15-30 stores in various locations around the country it is easy to imagine these costs spiralling upwards and outstripping the monthly on-costs of a remotely managed service.
Additionally, this cost needs to be considered every time the media needs to be changed, whereas with the networked remotely managed players it becomes a costs effective reality to have the media content changed daily or even hourly.
